1. About Solana Pulse
Solana Pulse is a Chrome extension designed to help users monitor public Solana (SOL) market data, including price, market performance, market capitalization, trading volume, market rank, all-time high and custom price alerts.
We respect your privacy and aim to keep the extension simple, transparent and focused on its single purpose: Solana market tracking.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
Solana Pulse does not collect, sell or share personal information. The extension does not collect:
- Names, email addresses or personal identifiers
- Passwords, wallet credentials, private keys or seed phrases
- Financial account information or payment details
- Browsing history, website content or form data
- Location data or user account information
3. Information Stored Locally
Solana Pulse uses Chrome Storage to save a small amount of user preferences locally on the device. This may include:
- Selected display currency, such as USD, EUR or GBP
- Custom SOL price-alert target
- Whether price alerts are enabled
- Last known SOL price and the last market-data check time
This information is used only to preserve settings between sessions and to detect when the selected price target has been reached. It is not sent to our servers. Removing the extension removes its locally stored settings.
4. Public Market Data and CoinGecko
The extension retrieves public Solana market data from the CoinGecko API. This data is used to display the current SOL price, 24-hour change, market capitalization, 24-hour volume, market rank, all-time high, seven-day chart and price-alert information.
CoinGecko may process technical request information according to its own privacy policy. Solana Pulse does not control CoinGecko’s data practices.
5. Price Alerts and Notifications
If you enable a price alert, Solana Pulse may periodically check public SOL market data in the background using Chrome alarms. This background check runs only to determine whether your configured target price has been reached.
When the target is reached, Chrome may display a notification. Notifications are used only for this user-requested alert feature and are not used for advertising or promotional messages.
6. Website Opened on Installation
When the extension is installed for the first time, it may open 50centtickets.org. This website is used as the official information and privacy-policy domain for the extension.
Solana Pulse does not send personal information to the website. Any information handled by the website itself is governed by the website’s own policies and hosting configuration.
7. Data Sharing, Advertising and Tracking
Solana Pulse does not sell, rent or share personal information with advertisers, data brokers or other third parties. The extension does not use advertising trackers, behavioral tracking systems or analytics trackers.
8. Security
The extension does not request, access or store cryptocurrency wallet credentials, private keys, seed phrases or passwords. Users should never enter such sensitive information into the extension or any unrelated website.
9. Children’s Privacy
Solana Pulse is not designed to collect personal information from children. Because the extension does not collect personal information, it does not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the extension’s features or data practices change. The latest version will always be published on this page with an updated date.
